When you seek something and find it, but then you regret that because it would be easier if you just don’t know. Somehow you just need to manage your curiosity.

i miss this place. a lot.

and so on. i miss all of them. because somehow, i felt like i am belong here.

So lately I watch A Beautiful Mind. First time I watched the movie was about seven years ago. I was a highschooler back then. At that time, all I watch is just about how a genius fought his schizophrenia and won a Nobel. But this time I see more.

I really like it when John Nash said that he doesn’t like people, so the people don’t like him. It somehow reminds me of Sheldon Cooper. They both are geniuses and having a hard time around people. But the irony is how much imaginary people created by Nash’s mind to accompany him. There were three of them. When a reality seemed to ignore and misunderstand him, they were accepting him. He was drowning in his made up world, where finally he found recognition, an acknowledgment.

So I arrive in the conclusion that no matter how introvert or loner person is he still needs another, which brings me to a question; why do we need other people?

First thing comes to mind is a need of acceptance. We all have a little John Nash in ourselves, deep down there. It doesn’t have to be a fantasy companion in mind, but I found it is quiet similar with a follower in world of cyber. The ones that like your post, comment on your thought, or mention you in his or hers. They are acknowledging you.

Coming to this working life, I met more people, and then I realize that there are so many things people do to be accepted. Some people lie and make up stories about how great they are. Some people show bad sides of other to make them looked well. Some people claim what they haven’t done as their work.

When finally settled that what other people think of us is more important than the truth, we create image. I don’t say it is wrong. Somehow preserving our image is a way to set border between good and bad. The question is, to whom should we preserve our image is?

There was one wise man said; be sufficient with your God’s attention, He knows everything.

China Builds Flats in Path of Highway | Via

Chinese officials were forced to cut a motorway in half to go around a block of flats after they accidentally erected the building in its proposed path then realized it would cost too much to relocate the tenants.

Construction workers had to squeeze the eight-lane highway into four and subsequently left furious residents stuck in the middle of a busy road. They had just been moved from their previous homes to make way for a park so refused to move again unless they were heavily compensated.

So the council decided to save a small fortune by leaving the flats in place.

Lahilote
